Starting down at Wasdale head in the small hours of the night, our Scafell Pike sunrise walk will begin its way hugging Lingmell Gill, onto Brown /tongue and Hollow stones before we turn towards our rocky Summit. Usually a busy route, but under the cover of darkness, a peaceful and tranquil walk, blessed by the view of the starry night sky and the moonlit mountain scape.
Depending on the time of year, start times vary but we always aim to make it to the summit just as the sun crests over the mountains in the east, a breath-taking, unforgettable bucket list experience.
The Journey down is just as good as you get to see the panoramic mountain views, appreciating it in a brand new light.
