    • Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothing, sturdy hiking boots, and layers to adjust for changing weather. A waterproof jacket and warm layers are also recommended.

  2. Do I need previous hiking experience?

    • No prior experience is required for most guided walks, as routes are tailored to suit all fitness levels. However, it’s good to be prepared for some physical activity.

  3. What safety measures do you have in place?

    • Our professional mountain leaders are trained in first aid and outdoor safety. We conduct risk assessments for each route, provide safety briefings, and carry necessary safety equipment.

  4. Can I bring my dog on the hike?

    • Our insurance, qualifications and first aid training does not cover the care of animals. If you would like to bring your dog then you would have to sign a waiver. Yonder Adventure Company does not hold any responsibility for your pets or any injuries or damage that may occur.

  5. What if the weather is bad on the day of the hike?

    • Safety is our priority. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe, we will reschedule the hike or offer an alternative activity. You will be informed in advance.

  6. How do I book a guided mountain walk?

    • Group sizes vary but are typically kept to a manageable number (usually 2-20) to ensure a personalized experience and safety. For Large groups we keep a ratio of 1 mountain leader to 10 participants.
